What is Equily Code?

Equily Code is a simple text format that represents any investment portfolio. Instead of screenshots, spreadsheets, or complex descriptions, you can share your entire portfolio in a single line:

VTI 60% / BND 30% / Cash 10%

Anyone can copy this code, paste it into Equily, and instantly analyze the same portfolio. Equily automatically resolves ticker symbols, so you don't need to specify exchanges for common tickers.

The Format

Equily Code follows a simple pattern: ticker allocation, separated by / slashes.

Equily uses smart disambiguation to resolve tickers. For full precision, add exchange suffixes like .US or .LSE - Equily generates these automatically when you analyze.

Equily uses smart disambiguation to resolve ticker symbols automatically. For most common tickers like VTI, VWRL, or AAPL, you don't need to specify the exchange.
