Portfolio Simulation

Adjust allocations and see how changes would affect your EPR score.

What is Portfolio Simulation?

The Simulate tab lets you experiment with portfolio allocations and instantly see how changes would affect your EPR score. Adjust how much is allocated to each asset class and view the recalculated score.

Your original analysis remains unchanged. Simulation is purely for exploring how different allocations would be scored.

Two Ways to Adjust

On desktop, you can choose between two interaction modes:

Drag Mode

Drag the edges of chart segments to quickly adjust allocations. Great for making rough adjustments.

Click Mode

Click a segment to reveal a precision slider. Perfect for setting exact percentages.

On mobile, tap any segment to access the precision slider.

How Simulation Works
1
Analyze Your Portfolio

First, run a normal analysis on your portfolio to get your baseline EPR score.

2
Go to the Simulate Tab

Click the Simulate tab (with the slider icon) to access the interactive allocation chart.

3
Adjust Allocations

Click or drag chart segments to change how much is allocated to each asset class. The chart updates in real-time.

4
Analyze the Revised Allocation

Click "Analyse Revised Portfolio" to see how your changes would affect the EPR score. Compare it to your baseline.

5
Copy the Equily Code

Copy the Equily Code to save your revised allocation or share it with others.

What Can You Simulate?

Asset Class Weights

Shift between Equity, Bonds, Commodities, and Cash. See how different mixes would be scored.

Individual Holding Weights

Adjust the percentage allocated to specific ETFs or stocks within each asset class.

Strategy Alignment

Explore how allocation changes would affect scoring against different strategy archetypes (Growth, Balanced, Income, Preservation).

Export Your Simulation

When you adjust allocations, Equily generates an updated Equily Code — a simple text format that captures your revised allocation.

60% VTI.US, 25% BND.US, 15% IAU.US

You can copy this code and paste it into a new analysis, or share it with others.

Reset Anytime:
Click "Reset to Original" to restore your allocation to its baseline state.

Try the Simulate tab to explore how allocation changes affect your EPR score.
